Previous Pakistani quick bowler Shoaib Akhtar on Wednesday reviewed that, in the wake of bowling to current Pakistan chief Babar Azam in the nets when he was youthful, caused him to understand that he was “a serious kid wonder”
“Even back then Babar Azam was quite a child prodigy. I used to enjoy bowling in the nets to him,” said Akhtar on Instagram, as he shared a piece of Babar Azam’s meeting with Indian observer Harsha Bhogle for cricket gateway Cricbuzz.

The Pakistan captin said that the previous top of the National Cricket Academy Mudasser Nazar would request that they go to those camps so the youthful ones will play with the more established folks and “understand the pace and learn to play against good bowlers”.
“One day he asked for a batsman. Mudasser [Nazar] bhai said take [Babar Azam],”
Azam said he was eager to get the chance to play the world’s quickest bowler after the call.
“He [Shoaib Akhtar] told me: Kid you have to block. Don’t drive the ball,” said Azam, as to directions the quickest bowler in world cricket had given to him prior to going in. He added that prior to knocking it out of the park he revealed to Akhtar that he would tune in to his recommendation.
“I stopped two balls and then hit one drive. [Shoaib Akhtar] said I will bowl fuller but you don’t need to drive, you have to block,” recalled Babar.
“During one such shot, the ball went between his legs. He immediately asked for a new ball and said I will show him,” Azam said to reveal to Bhogle how genuine the previous pacer would be in the wake of seeing the shots. He likewise reviewed cleverly that when Akhtar said those words, Mudasser Nazar came running and requested that he leave the nets or probably the pacer would “Kill” him.
