Ruby Rose said people sustained injuries while working on the Batwoman set
Ray Fisher is on Ruby Rose’s side after releasing a string of allegations against Batwoman’s producers and management.
Taking to Instagram, Ray threw his weight behind the character and wrote: “It’s good for Ruby Rose. Naming is not easy, but it has to be done.”
Earlier, the actor, in a series of Instagram Stories, suspected that the set working conditions were unsafe and spoke of a state of personal misconduct.
“Enough,” he began.
“I’ll tell the whole world what really happened in that set.”
“They hurt [the character] Kate Kane and destroyed Batwoman, not me. I followed the instructions, and if I want to stay I’ll have to sign my rights away.”
He pointed out that many of the people working on the set received serious injuries, including himself, his assistant, and a member of staff who had been fired for a third degree.
Ruby Rose admitted that she was “fighting against the established people”, but insisted that it was because she “wanted safety”.
She also threw out strong allegations against his former teammate Dougray Scott for scolding women for the set and “harmed the female student”.
Rose was born in Melbourne, the daughter of Katia Langenheim, a single mother and 20-year-old singer, who described her as one of her characters and the granddaughter of a German movie star. Since March 2016, Ruby Rose has been the face of Urban Decay Cosmetics.
In March 2017, Rose played in Nike’s latest “Kiss My Airs” campaign to celebrate its Air Max Day. In May, Ruby Rose was the face of the launch of the Swarovski ‘Urban Fantasy’ FW17 Collection.
