Priyanka Chopra, a Bollywood actress, has urged the United States to exchange COVID-19 vaccines with India in the wake of the virus’s debilitating second wave, which has exacerbated the country’s crisis.

Moving to Twitter, the Quantico actor revealed that the US had ordered more vaccines than it required and could easily supply them to India to help the country combat the virus’s spread.

Chopra’s plea for assistance, however, elicited a mixed response from social media users, with many reminding her that she took so long to tweet.
