Alam, an individual from the triumphant group of the 1994 World Cup, was determined to have blood malignant growth recently.
His girl said he went through chemotherapy at Shaukat Khanum Hospital, Lahore last evening and his wellbeing crumbled after it.
He was moved to the emergency unit his wellbeing disintegrated, his little girl said.
His family had uncovered recently that the previous athlete was feeling unwell for a few days and went to Shaukat Khanum Memorial Hospital where specialists learned of his disease.
The Punjab CM had guaranteed that the cost of Alam’s treatment would be borne by the Punjab government.
His memorial service petitions will be held at 10 pm this evening, the Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) affirmed. It will occur at Company Bagh in Sheikhupura.
PHF Secretary-General Asif Bajwa, Manzoor Junior, Asif Naz, and Khawaja Junaid will go to the memorial service supplications, PHF’s assertion read.
