There is going to a clash between West Indies and England. After series with South Africa, this is the first Test series with West Indies. Test Series contains 3 Test matches hosting is at the hand of England. Matches will be played behind the close doors. England has announced 13 members squad.
England squad: Ben Stokes (Captain), Jofra Archer, James Anderson, Stuart Broad, Dominic Bess, Rory Burns, Jos Buttler, Joe Denly, Zak Crawly, Mark Wood, Dom Sibley, Chris Woakes and Ollie Pope.
West Indies Squad: Jason Holder (captain), Jermaine Blackwood, Shannon Gabriel, Kraigg Brathwaite, John Campbell, Raymon Reifer, Roston Chase, Rahkeem Cornwall, Shane Dowrich, Chemar Holder, Nkrumah Bonner, Shai Hope, Alzarri Joseph, Kemar Roach, and Shamarh Brooks.
England will miss the most senior player of the white ball squad. Moeen Ali and Jonny Bairstow who gave strength in the batting line-up. Moeen Ali is an all-rounder cricketer. Johnny Bairstow is a wicket-keeper batsman. Dom Bess is a young off-break spinner who may be filled the position of Moeen Ali. Moeen Ali has a lot of experience while Dom Bess hasn’t.
In the pace department, England has Jofar Archer, James Anderson, Stuart Broad, and Mark Wood who provide the extra pace. Jofra Archer has recently recovered from elbow stress injury and he also missed the touring party for Sri Lanka in March. Broad remained wicketless in the warm-up game.
England is likely to rotate its seamers to make them fresh because there are only three days gap between tests. On the bench of reserves two new seamers Saqib Mehmood and Ollie Robinson also available because of hamstring problems they didn’t play the warm-up game.
