Clear The Cache : An easy way to free up disk space.
Clearing your cache is one of the most straightforward ways to fix all objectives, as well as restart your device. It can fix lags, random cold, or crashes, especially on Windows, and will free up storage space. Most people do not, so we will show you how to clear all your archives.
Most devices have more than one repository. Your browser, for example, has a separate repository for other applications and operating system. We’ll show you how to manage the most important archives across all platforms. Clearing various caches should be a common housekeeping task if you like to keep your digital tools sharp.
How to clear cache on Windows
In Windows 10, open the Disk Cleanup application. You can get there by pressing Windows + S and looking for disk cleaning.
Alternatively, open File Explorer, navigate to this PC, right-click on the system drive, select Properties, and then click Disk Cleanup.
As it launches, it will calculate how much space you will be able to free up, which may take a while. Once Disk Cleanup is ready, be sure to check the temporary files to clear the Windows repository. With the same navigation, you can also download Recycle Bin, Temporary Internet Files (i.e. Edge Browser), and more. While you are there, also click the Clean system files button to expand the list to install Windows Update and upgrade files.
When you are done making your selection, click OK. Disk Cleanup will ask you if you are sure you want to delete these files permanently. Click Delete Files to confirm and wait for the cleanup to complete. If you have access to Disk Cleanup using disk formats, you can close that window at any time.
How to clear cache in macOS

You can press Command + A to select all folders. To delete a folder or file, drag it to the trash or press Command + Delete and confirm the action with your Mac password, then click OK.
Make sure you do not delete anything you still need, so check folders before deleting them and always keep a backup copy of your important data.
