Cinemas: Turning a 15- or 18-dimensional film for not having the right ID can be a thing of the past.
The UK Cinema Association – which includes Cineworld, Odeon, Showcase Cinemas, and Vue – is partnering with digital ID company Yoti.
The free app will be accepted as proof of age. Because it is providing a secure and easy way to display ID.
It is hoped that the move will address. Because harassment of cinematic staff.
Yoti incorporates the same technology you see at the airport. Because where you scan your passport and take a photo of your face.
To use Yoti ID, children will need to have a smartphone. Where they can download the free app, add details to their passports and current photo.
The digital ID card will then show a picture verified by the age that cinemas can accept.

Abuse of cinema staff
