If you need to compile a professional manual, you will probably use a word processor like Google Docs. Brochures can be incredibly helpful in promoting a business, selling products and services, and informing potential customers about who you are and what you can offer. Making your own booklet ensures you have control over every step of the production process; if you pull it out and have someone else assemble it for you, it may not happen the way you thought. Here’s how to make a booklet on Google Docs.
How to make a booklet on Google Docs
Templates
Go to docs.google.com, and then click the template gallery button at the top.
Within the template gallery, locate and identify the template you want to use as the starting point for your brochure. This will usually label the Booklet.
Using an external company template
If you need an easy way to get started in your booklet, there is a website called GooDocs that can help you. Provides many free booklet templates and templates for many other purposes.
To get started, be sure to sign in to your Google Account, then go to the GooDocs website.
From there, move your cursor over the Templates tab at the top left, then click Brochures.
Minimize your search results continuously, as all displayed results will be Google Docs, Google Spreadsheets, and Google Slides. You will only need Google Docs templates, so click Formats → Google Docs.
Find the template for the booklet you wish to use. Click on it.
Click SET TEMPLE.

Choose the right size for your template.
Your template will begin downloading, after which you will be redirected back to Google Docs. It will ask you if you would like to make a copy of [insert template file name here]. Click the blue button marked Make a copy.
You can now edit the template for the brochure.
How to make a triple booklet on Google Docs
Making a triple booklet, or a booklet that folds in length into three equal parts, is very easy. You can do that using GooDocs or create your own with columns.
Divide your page into three equal parts
To create a triple-fold brochure from scratch, you will need your page set up in landscape mode. To do this, click File → Page Setup → Shape: Location.
Next, divide your page into three columns. To do this, click Format → Columns → Number of columns: 3.
Adding a line between columns
An easy way to find out exactly where to fold your booklet is to insert a line between the columns.
To do this, click Format → Columns → More options.
In the Column options, click Row between columns–> Apply.
Your page will now be divided into three columns, with a row between each column. Add content as you see fit to complete your brochure.
