ATC: Four more charges were added to the FIR against Imran Khan
The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Islamabad. On Thursday extended PTI Chairman Imran’s interim bail till September 12 in the terrorism case filed against him.
A case of terrorism has been registered against Imran Khan for his controversial remarks. About senior police officers and a female judge during a public rally in the federal capital on August 20.
The ATC has summoned PTI Chairman Imran Khan at 12 noon today in a terror case filed against him. For threatening senior police officers and Additional Sessions Judge Zeb Chaudhary during a public rally in the federal capital.

Anti-arrest bail in terror case
ATC judge Raja Hassan Jawad resumed the hearing of the terrorism case against the PTI chairman. Who was not present in the courtroom even though his pre-arrest bail in the case had expired today.
Babar Awan, counsel for Imran Khan. Informed the court that his client’s life was in danger and hence he did not appear in the court. He claimed that the Islamabad police had issued a warning of a possible attack on Imran Khan.
During the proceedings, the lawyer asked the court to grant his client provisional bail. “IG and DIG operations would be responsible if anything happens to my client,” warned Babar.
To this, the court noted that only the person who comes to court will get bail. There is no such instance of a suspect being released on bail without appearing in court, the judge said.
Interim bail for Imran Khan
Meanwhile, Babar Awan filed a writ petition in the court seeking interim bail for Imran Khan. He told the court that four more charges were added to the FIR. The lawyer requested the court to grant bail to Khan in the new clauses as well.
Moving to the prosecutor, the ATC judge observed that Section 7 of the Anti-Terrorism Act. 1997 (7-ATA) is added to the FIR only when an offense is committed.
“You have to prove which Kalashnikov was used in the attack. And the attack was carried out by him wearing a suicide jacket,” the judge asked.
The judge noted that he will hear arguments on the bail application today.
To this the prosecutor said bring the suspect to court first, then the arguments will begin.
Meanwhile, the court summoned Imran Khan and took an adjournment till 12 noon.

Speaking to reporters outside the court, Babar Awan said he had submitted two written replies to the court. He claimed that the police had issued a warning of a possible attack on Khan.
The lawyer said he submitted the threat warning to the court.
Babar repeated the question and said that he had informed the court that Imran Khan was not in Mayfair but was in Banigale and would appear before the court at 12.
A First Information Report (FIR) was registered against former prime minister Khan under the Anti-Terrorism Act (ATA) for threatening the Additional Sessions Judge and senior police officers of the Islamabad Police at a rally at F-9 Park in the federal capital in August. 20.
“We will not spare you. We will sue you,” Khan said in a speech naming the police chief and a judge involved in the case against his aide Shahbaz Gill.
