For notes, open any note to be sent as PDF.
Once in a note, tap the ellipsis icon (…) at the top.
Select Send copy.
Tap Markup to generate PDF. On the pages page, you can define your PDF before downloading. Choose any marking tool, customize and define the PDF.
When you are happy with your PDF, tap Done. Notes will ask you to save your PDF.
Tap Save File To select a suitable location on your iPhone or iPad.
Finally, tap Save.

For Mac, the process is very straightforward. Here’s how to do it:
Launch the Notes app and open the note you would like to send as a PDF.
Click File from the menu bar.
Select Send as PDF.
