Shahid Afridi, a former Pakistan cricketer, misses playing with his Multan Sultans colleagues despite the team’s great triumph in Abu Dhabi.
The owner of the Multan Sultans team, Ali Tareen, tweeted that he missed Afridi and that it would have been “wonderful” to watch him participate in another final.
Afridi reacted to Tareen’s post by stating he misses everyone and wishes he could be there with them.
Afridi wished the squad well, saying he was confident the Multan Sultans would play excellent cricket and offer enormous delight and cause for celebration if they won their forthcoming final match against the Peshawar Zalmis on Thursday.
In another tweet, Afridi stated that the match between the Multan Sultans and the Peshawar Zalmis “could be a wonderful final.”
