Lucas Moura to Tottenham
The Brazilian winger flew into London on Monday to undergo a medical ahead of his potential move to Tottenham. The 25-year-old Paris Saint-Germain attacker is surplus to requirements in the French capital and was linked with a move to Manchester United and Liverpool earlier on in the window. The Daily Mail claim Daniel Levy has struck a deal in the region of £25 million for the former Sao Paulo star.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to Arsenal
The Borussia Dortmund striker is having a medical with Arsenal today after they agreed to pay a club-record fee, £58m, according to Kicker. The 28-year-old would reunite with Henrikh Mkhitaryan at the Emirates and the pair could fire Arsene Wenger’s men into the top four. After defeat to Swansea City, Arsenal have it all to do, sitting in sixth position.
Olivier Giroud to Chelsea
With the BBC reporting that Michy Batshuayi is close to completing his move to Dortmund, there’s a belief that Giroud’s move to Chelsea is a matter of when and not if. The Daily Mail believe an £18m deal has been negotiated by the two clubs and that the French forward prefers a move to the champions, despite being offered more game time at West Ham.
Riyad Mahrez to Manchester City
The champions elect have acted swiftly to find cover for injured duo Leroy Sane and Gabriel Jesus. It was reported by the Telegraph that City had their first bid for the Leicester City playmaker rejected. They returned with an offer in excess of £50m and this forced Mahrez into handing in a transfer request in an attempt to push through the deal. It is believed that the 2015-16 Premier League champions want close to £90m for the player.
Davy Klaassen to Napoli
It was hailed as a coup during the summer transfer window when Everton managed to sign Ajax captain Klaassen. The 24-year-old Dutchman now looks set to leave Goodison Park, with the Liverpool Echo linking Napoli with a loan move for the unwanted midfield maestro. Sam Allardyce is happy to sanction the deal without bringing in a replacement.
